I am an Assistant Professor in the School of Economics and Trade at Kyungpook National University, where I joined in September 2024.
My research focuses on macroeconomics, particularly the distributional effects of inclusive public policies, demographic transitions, and family economics.
Prior to my academic appointment, I spent seven years at the Bank of Korea, most recently as a Senior Economist. My work involved developing and refining macroeconomic models, including DSGE models, semi-structural models, and global input-output network analyses for policy evaluation and economic forecasting.
